Manchester Royal Eye Hospital Bicentenary Conference

by | 26th May 2014

I was the first UK surgeon to publish on combined phacovitrectomy surgery for the treatment of macular holes without having to perform face down posturing and also have published on combined lens removal and vitrectomy for a variety of eye conditions as this prevents patients having to return for further surgery for their cataract following vitrectomy.  The Manchester Royal Eye Hospital wished that I present a talk on combined phacovitrectomy from a historical perspective together with my current practice as I have been at the forefront of clinical research in this field.  To view my presentation click here.
