Simon Madge is a senior consultant ophthalmic surgeon and Director of the Hereford Vision Surgical Group. More importantly, he is a good friend and colleague whom I have known for many years, having worked alongside him at the West of England Eye Unit. He is someone I would trust without hesitation if I ever needed cataract surgery myself!

Simon has an excellent Instagram feed, @thecataractspecialist, where he poses thoughtful and challenging questions to a panel of eminent cataract surgeons. I was delighted and honoured to be invited to contribute to one of his interviews.
